Homemade Granola
Yields about 6 cups

Ingredients:
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup slivered almonds
¾ cup shredded sweetened coconut
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup canola oil
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup dried fruit such as raisins, cranberries, cherries or sliced apricots

Procedure:
Preheat oven to 250 F.

In large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, coconut and brown sugar.

In another bowl, combine maple syrup, oil and salt. Add to oat mixture and stir until well combined. Transfer to two baking sheets in a single layer and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Stir mixture every 20 minutes or so to achieve even browning.

Remove from oven and cool slightly. Add dried fruit and enjoy.

The bagel recipe looks so good and not hard! Finding yeast is the difficulty these days! Great idea to use “everything but the bagel” to sprinkle on top. The classes look terrific!
